On January 16, 2007, an agreement was reached between Ofcom and the Radio Communications Foundation (RCF), outlining the terms for the administration of amateur radio examinations by the RCF. Under this agreement, Ofcom recognizes the results of these examinations for the purpose of issuing amateur radio licenses.
