Well, several club members travelled to a wonderful location in the southern Brecon Beacons aptly titled The British to participate as GW4EZW/p in the 2M Practical Wireless QSP contest. Conditions were not great for 2M propagation but we did make 28 or so QSO’s during the course of the day. Gareth (MW1DCF) provided pretty much everything needed for the event, from the radio to the antenna, the van to the power, and the bacon to the tomato sauce.
The rain held off for what was an otherwise fantastic day out in good company, and you can also read a small write up on the clubs Facebook page.
